Eddie joined Colosseum Dental UK in 2018 as Chief Dentist and part of the management team. He has since November 2019 chaired the Medical Board of the Group, representing the highest medical governance body of the Group.
Eddie is a highly seasoned leader in the dental services industry and brings over 20 years of experience with Dental Support organisations. In his current role, he works collaboratively with the teams across the European countries and the USA bringing the experience to the developing business with a focus on high-quality patient care and enhancement of robust systems and processes. Eddie has been qualified as a dentist since 1991 and holds an MBA in Healthcare.
On his appointment Eddie said “I am honoured and humbled to be taking on the role of Chief Medical Officer for the Colosseum group. I am looking forward to continuing our journey driving the provision of ongoing high quality oral care by highly skilled teams. My key focus will be supporting this through education & development, the adoption of advanced technology, alongside working in partnership with our manufacturer and supplier partners – ultimately all for the benefit of our more than 3million patients across our 11 markets.”
In his new role, Eddie reports to Stefan Nilsson, CEO of Colosseum Dental Group and continues as a part of the Executive Committee of the Group, as Chairman of the CDG Medical Board and additionally will co-Chair the Global Medical Board with Dr Andrew Matta, CMO of North American Dental Group.
