We want to provide modern, quality dentistry services for the benefit of patients, dentists, employees and shareholders, striving for continuous growth and excellence.

Our model is built on strong country organisations in the regions where we operate. We use a leadership model where our country managers are trusted to make good decisions that benefits both the Group and our local clinics. Our central operation supports local dental chains with leadership and operational knowledge and are a facilitator for successful collaboration between countries. We have extensive experience from investing in EMEA countries and a strong buying organisation to support new ventures.

Our beneficiary owner is Jacobs Foundation, one of the world’s leading charitable foundations dedicated to child and youth development.

Stefan Nilsson
Chief Executive Officer

Stefan Nilsson joined in 2018.

He began his career at Nestlé in 1997. In 2001, he assumed the role of factory manager of Nespresso, followed by various management roles within the group until he was appointed CEO Brazil for Nespresso in 2013. In 2015, Stefan joined GrandVision, a global leader in optical retailing, as Regional Director for Latin America and subsequently CEO of its Brazilian business.

Stefan holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA from University of Rochester.

Daniel Fehr
Chief Financial Officer

Daniel Fehr joined in 2018.

He spent 10 years with Barry Callebaut, the world’s leading manufacturer of high-quality chocolate and cocoa, another portfolio company of Jacobs Holding. Daniel served in various finance leadership positions, most recently as Head of Group Tax. While at Barry Callebaut, he also built and led the regional treasury and tax function in Malaysia and Singapore, respectively. Previous to his work at Barry Callebaut, Daniel was with PwC for 8 years, working for the Swiss and the UK firm in their assurance and advisory services.

Daniel is a Swiss Chartered Accountant and a Swiss Certified Trustee.

Per Rehnberg
Chief Digital Officer

Per Rehnberg joined in 2019.

Per holds a Master of Science in Dental Surgery from the University of Gothenburg and is an experienced dentist and leader of international Dental organizations.

In his latest position he was CEO of Snö Dental in the United Arab Emirates. Per lead the green field project of creating the most advanced dental chain of the region based in Abu Dhabi. He is also the former CEO of Colosseum Smile Dental operating in Scandinavia and growing fast during his lead. Prior to this his extensive experience includes leading business operations as COO of the largest private healthcare and dentistry services provider in Sweden.

Jarkko Jokinen
CEO Finland and Member Executive Committee

Jarkko joined Oral Hammaslääkärit as COO at the position of Commercial Director for Scandinavia and the Baltics in GlaxoSmithKline.

Jarkko has extensive management experience in the field of private health care services and the pharmaceutical industry. During his career, he has worked as CEO of Pihlajalinna Dextra Fertility Clinic and the Director of the company´s private health care services and insurance business. He also holds various chairs in the Board of Directors of diverse health care companies.

Jarkko Jokinen has an MBA in social and health management and studies on general management in the Tampere University of Applied Sciences and on marketing in Henley Business School.

Malin Schmidt
CEO Sweden and Member Executive Committee

Malin Schmidt joined as CEO of Smile Tandvård in February 2017.

Prior to joining Colosseum Smile Group, Malin held various managerial positions within education for the past 13 years. For 10 years Malin worked for the EF Education group, building chains of school networks in China, Indonesia and Russia. Her focus has always been on growth, expansion strategy as well as sales, marketing and HR. Before entering education Malin started out as a management consultant for a smaller boutique firm in Sweden.

Malin holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Gothenburg School of Economics in Sweden.

Thomas Bäumer
CEO Germany

Thomas Bäumer has been working with Jacobs AG since 2007, when he acted as CEO of TUJA Zeitarbeit GmbH, and joined as CEO of Colosseum Germany in 2018.

Prior to joining Colosseum, Thomas held various managerial positions. He served as the CEO of Adecco Operations Germany from 2014 to 2016. He is on the supervisory board of various companies.

In the charitable field, Thomas Bäumer is involved as a sponsor and member of the board of trustees of the association Roter Keil, which fights against child prostitution. In addition, Bäumer is chairman of the Betriebsarztzentrum Münster e. V.

In 2016, Thomas Bäumer was honoured with the Federal Cross of Merit on the ribbon for his involvement in the temporary employment industry as well as for his social and social commitment.

Mia Grundstrøm
CEO Norway

Mia Grundstrøm is appointed as CEO of Colosseum Tannlege and Head of Colosseum Norway as of the 15th of August 2020.

Mia comes from the health care industry, Aleris Helse AS, where she has worked since 2007 as CFO, Deputy CEO and CEO for the past few years. She has extensive experience in service development through innovation and customer experience as well as in project management, M&A and digitalization.

Mia holds a degree in economics from BI Business School.

Jens Mondrup
CEO Denmark

Before joining Colosseum Jens was Managing Director for Berendsen’s European Hygiene and Dust Control Division running operations across Europe.

Jens has extensive international business management experience at executive level from 10 years with Gillette and Oral-B working in Boston, Geneva, London and Copenhagen.  Jens has gained experience in Consumer Health as  Managing Director for the private equity-owned Ferrosan, where he managed subsidiaries in Russia and Eastern Europe and also as SVP at Atos Medical Devices.

Jens Mondrup has a Master’s from Copenhagen Business School in International Business and Administration supplemented with studies at Harvard Business School in Finance.

Andrea Ruggeri
Operative Director Italy

Andrea Ruggeri is appointed as the Operative Director of OdontoSalute as of July 2020 with the responsibility for all operations.

Andrea has more than ten years of experience in the dental sector. Prior to joining Colosseum, Andrea worked at Caredent Italia at several positions including Director of purchasing, maintenance and new construction sites, as well as Director of network development and franchisee. He has extensive experiences in the selection and training of all employees (ASO, receptionists, sale consultants of the clinics and directors), medical staff, and all the verification and control activities on the operation of the individual clinics.

Andrea graduated from accounting school in 1986. He holds a  university degree in the legal field with a specialization in labour law and commercial law.

Dominik Cajochen
Head of Procurement

Dominik Cajochen joined in 2017.

Dominik has a strong background in global Strategic Sourcing, Transformation, Source to Pay and Business Services including previous roles of Global Head of Procurement Operations at SABMiller, Director of Corporate Initiatives at Sony Music and Purchasing Group Manager at Procter & Gamble.

Dominik holds a Master’s Degree in International Studies from the Graduate Institute of Geneva.

Eddie Coyle
Chairman of the Medical Board

Eddie Coyle joined in 2018

Eddie qualified as a dentist in 1991 and also holds an MBA in Healthcare.

Eddie brings over 20 years’ experience with Dental Support organisations with his last role being Dental Clinical Director for BUPA in the UK & ROI. Now in his current role at Colosseum UK as Clinical Director and as the Chairman of the Medical Board for Europe, he works collaboratively with the teams across the European countries and the USA bringing the experience to the developing business with a focus on high-quality patient care and enhancement of robust systems and processes. With the Medical Board, Eddie’s focus is to support the ongoing development of high-quality governance systems and ensuring smooth and safe clinical operations at the clinic level.

Ragnhild Hauge Waters
Head of Group Academy

Ragnhild Hauge Waters joined in 2020.

Prior to joining the Colosseum Group Ragnhild held a variety of positions in general management and HR. Past experience includes international sales at Helly Hansen, HR management at Peterson Linerboard (pulp and paper industry) as well as being the CEO of a rehabilitation company. Furthermore, Ragnhild has worked as a business consultant for ten years, successfully driving a variety of projects ranging from the turn around cases to management for hire assignments in a broad range of industries.

Ragnhild holds an MBA from University of Karlstad/BI, Oslo Business School.

Patrick Landeau
Head of Value Creation

Patrick Landeau joined in 2019.

Patrick has in his former roles been responsible for applying employee management solutions for the fulfilment of business objectives, driving profitable growth of business lines, optimising business models and market intelligence as well as leading sales, revenue growth and profitability in the Adecco Group as SVP, Global Practice Leader & Candidates Associate Management and Onsite Operations; as VP, Operational Excellence and Business Development; and in Adecco Spain as National Sales Director.

Patrick holds a DESCAF (BA Degree) from the Pau Graduate School of Business and has graduated from the IMD Leadership Program.

Minna Lönnqvist
Head of Corporate Communications and Branding

Minna Lönnqvist joined in 2019.

Minna has business exposure in the field of dentistry working for eight years in Colosseum Dental Group´s largest daughter company Oral in Finland in the areas of corporate communications, IR, PR, branding and marketing latest holding a Director position. She has also worked within corporate communications and PR in the retail business in Bauhaus Finland.

Minna holds a Master´s Degree in languages and communications from the University of Helsinki and a BBA from the Business Polytechnic HELIA.

Bianca Vögeli
Head of Business Development

Bianca Vögeli joined in 2018.

She joined from Heritage B, a conglomerate with business interests in kitchen and bathroom solutions as well as stainless steel containers, where she headed their strategy and business development function. In this role, she was also responsible for setting up a new business unit in the US. Prior to Heritage B, she was a manager in PwC’s M&A practice in Switzerland.

She is a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) and has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration of the University of St Gallen.

Patrick De Maeseneire
Chairman of the Board

Patrick De Maeseneire is the Chairman of the Board of Directors since 2016. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Jacobs Holding AG – the majority shareholder of Colosseum Dental Group.

Besides his function as CEO, he also serves as chairman of Jacobs’ portfolio company, Barry Callebaut AG and a member of the Board of Ahold Delhaize, a Dutch-Belgian international food retailer.

Before joining Jacobs Holding AG, Patrick was CEO of Adecco S.A., the largest staffing company in the world, and also Barry Callebaut AG. Under his leadership, Barry Callebaut started its successful global expansion, which ultimately turned it into the global leader in chocolate and cocoa.  He started his career at Arthur Andersen Consulting followed by executive positions at Wang, Apple Computer and Sun International.

Patrick holds a Master’s degree in Commercial Engineering from the Solvay Business School of Brussels University (VUB), and a special license in marketing management from Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School, Belgium. Patrick also completed studies in Business Management at the London Business School and INSEAD.

Philippe Jacobs
Member Board of Directors

Philippe is Co-Chairman of Jacobs Holding AG – the majority shareholder of Colosseum Dental Group and Executive Chairman of Telemos Capital.

Philippe Jacobs has been an Investment Director at Aalto Invest focusing on the firm’s public equity investments and previously worked at the Global Industrials Group in the Investment Banking Division of Royal Bank of Scotland and also at UBS AG in London and Zurich.

Philippe holds an M.Sc. in Finance from Imperial College Business School in Britain and Bachelor of Arts HSG in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen. Besides, he has completed a course at the FESCO International Training Center in Shanghai in Chinese language and culture.

Alan Hippe
Member Board of Directors

 

Alan Hippe was appointed to the Board of Directors of Colosseum Dental Group and North American Dental Group in June of 2019.

Dr. Alan Hippe is currently the Chief Financial and Information Officer at Roche in Switzerland since 2011. He has served on the regulatory board of the Swiss stock exchange, SIX, since 2018. Previously, he served on the Executive Board of ThyssenKrupp and as a Member of the Board and Head of the Audit Committee of Voith GmbH, a family-owned industrial business in Germany.

Dr. Hippe earned a degree with distinction in business administration from the University of Mannheim and graduated in 1996 with a PhD from the University of Mainz.

Michael T. Doyle
Member Board of Directors

Michael T. Doyle was appointed to the Board of Directors of Colosseum Dental Group and North American Dental Group in 2020.

Michael is the founder and CEO of MD Healthcare Partners – a private investment firm that delivers long-term financial and operational support to healthcare providers. He also serves as CEO of the Florida Orthopaedic Institute and Gastro MD.

He previously served as co-founder and CEO of Surgery Partners (NASDAQ: SGRY) – a publicly-traded national company with over 160 locations in over 30 states. Before that, Michael spent more than a decade in various leadership positions, including Senior Vice President of Operations, at HealthSouth (Encompass Health, NASDAQ: EHC).

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia and a Master of Business, Administration from Troy State University in Alabama.
