Colosseum Dental Group ("Colosseum") is pleased to announce to have reached an agreement with Fabio Boscolo, the company’s founder and CEO, to acquire 70% of OdontoSalute. With this acquisition, Colosseum will further expand into continental Europe and become one of the leading dentistry clinic operators in Italy with 10 directly owned clinics and close to 30 further franchisee clinics. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
At present, Colosseum has sales in excess of EUR 250 million and operates more than 150 clinics in Norway, Sweden, the UK, Switzerland, Italy and Denmark, further pursuing its journey to build a leading pan-European dentistry group.
“We’ve found an excellent partner in Colosseum. Our cultures and approach to dentistry are very compatible and we feel certain that having Colosseum as owner will help us accelerate our Italian expansion”, says Fabio Boscolo, CEO and founder of OdontoSalute.
“This is an important step forward for Colosseum Dental and one that will give us a strong network in the North Eastern Italian market. We look forward to operating and developing these dentistry clinics and welcome all current patients, dentists and employees to Colosseum”, says Tomas Aubell, CEO of Colosseum.
Established in 2008, OdontoSalute has since then been built up by its founder to a leading dentistry chain with nationwide presence, focusing on providing high quality dentistry services at affordable prices.
Colosseum sees good opportunities for strong sales growth, both in existing clinics and by the build-up of further new clinics. Additionally, the company is interested in acquiring further regional dentistry chains with a compatible culture and product offering to OdontoSalute and to launch its high-end brand concept, swiss smile, in Italy. Colosseum is delighted to announce that Fabio Boscolo will remain fully committed to the business and will in the future lead all Italian activities of the Group.
